Classic failed ECT sensor or a thermostat stuck open. Scan for pending codes even without a lamp. Cheap sensor first, then thermostat.
Dash says 90, infrared on the housing says 70. Fan never comes on. No CEL.
Real coolant temperature is way off? (up to 20°C)
